NEIWAI 内外 which means “inside outside” in Mandarin, was founded in 2012 by Xiaolu Liu and her husband Jiang Li in Shanghai.
From a family with a long history in the underwear industry, Liu found difficulty in finding a brand that is genuinely created for women, with comfort as its ultimate goal. She strives to achieve designs that respect differences, cherish diversity, and appreciate the beauty of each individual woman.
Liu believes that underwear, the apparel closest to one’s heart, should be a woman’s most intimate and loyal companion across her lifetime. Comfort should be the essence of underwear.
She believes that a good underwear brand should be able to accompany a woman throughout her life.

We adopt a considered approach in sourcing fine materials that take into account the welfare of the planet. We strive to use high quality, eco-friendly material such as recycled nylon, Supima(R) Cotton Tencel(TM), Modal Spandex.
We designed recyclable packaging which is 40% smaller in volume compared to traditional packaging. This lighter and more durable design saves 450 tons of packaging material annually. That’s approximately 600 trees protected as a result.
Our PANTIE PRO™ is washable and reusable, an upgrade to your average pantie that protects you 24/7. It can replace pads, tampons and applicators, which reduces the use of these disposable products that are usually hard to biodegrade.
